Lord in Heaven, we seem so unsure about what You want us to do in a world of darkness. But You have already told us; share the Good News! Go out and make more disciples, bring the world out of this mess. So answer me this, beloved brothers and sisters, why aren’t we doing it? Everywhere we look, there is help needed and a mission field to exploit. We don’t need to go to the other side of the world to find people in need of the Gospel. America is the biggest mission field in desperate need of the truth and it is filled with Christians who can give them it. Yet, even the most faithful are hiding, watching in horror the destruction of this once Christ-centered country, and wishing there was something they could do about it. There is! My fellow believers, if you hear nothing else from me, hear this: no more hiding! It will always be hard and you are afraid. The world is brutal and being different these days is punished by judgement and social execution. But it was never promised that it would be easy, in fact it was promised the exact opposite. The life of a Christian here on Earth is difficult as we bear our crosses, but we persevere for a prize of eternal life. As Christians, we are CALLED to be different. It is our CALLING to separate from the world and its evil ways. Do not let peer pressure control you, for the world needs us. This country needs us now more than ever. Join the movement now, before time runs out. Father, awaken hearts and renew courage. Remind us of our mission when times get hard. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
