I do believe the Lord is giving you an opportunity to lead this child to Jesus. Perhaps you can offer this child the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ. I do believe it is a divine appointment from the Lord for you and this child. He who wins souls is wise. I believe it is a door of opportunity from the Lord Jesus. Pray and leave the rest in the hands of God. I’m speaking from experience. Both of our children have accepted Jesus and every other weekend I send them to their addict father. It hurts my heart so very deeply because their dad has pulled a loaded gun and yet the judge persists that their dad have visitation. Through all of this, it has forced me to draw so close to the Lord. I’m so weak, but I depend on the Lord Jesus as my strength, and I still pray for their dad’s deliverance and salvation. My daughter hears from the Lord and writes letters to me of prayers I pray to God in secret so I know her relationship with Jesus is real. In this pain and struggle, I choose to allow the Lord to use ‘messed up’ me to share Christ with others in similar situations. It’s totally an open door from Jesus for you with this precious child.
