Lord God, since my four year old brother was diagnosed with cancer everything has changed in such a terrifying way. I have become so certain that we need you in this world. Everyday is more than difficult and we cry out to you for guidance, hope, and healing. I know you will not turn away those who truly love you and I ask with all my heart that you would bring healing to my beautiful brother. I know you are using this for your glory and have faith in your plans. However, I will faithfully wait on the day when I can tell everyone how you, oh Lord, brought healing beyond belief. God, be greater than the worries in my life and stronger than the doubting battles I fight within myself in times of despair. Let your glory come alive in this journey. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
