Lord, you gave us Zephaniah 1:14-18, the daily reading for 9/11/2001, as a prophetic reading, indicating that the “high towers falling” was a breach in our safety allowed by you as a warning judgement on America, a day of the Lord foreshadowing the day of the Lord. Our nation, like Israel, was founded on you, the only two Nations on the Earth ever to be consecrated to you. George Washington said at the consecration of America in St Paul’s Chapel at ground zero, that the “propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the Eternal Rules of Order and right, which heaven itself has ordained” Lord our nation has turned from you and disregarded you, and therefore the ground of our consecration became the ground of our warning judgment, at Ground Zero. Lord, you say it it is not your will that any should perish, but that all men everywhere should come to you and be saved. Lord you have given us this window in time, like Ebenezer Scrooge, that the shadow of the future is things that might be, not things that necessarily will be. Lord you are right and just in judging us, for you are just. You must judge evil, but it is not your will for us to die as individuals and as a nation. We thank you that it was only a warning judgment and not full and final destruction on our nation that will come if your people, living in America, do not repent. Oh Lord, cause your people, to Humble themselves and pray and seek your face and turn from their Wicked Ways then you will hear from heaven and forgive our sin and heal our land. Lord, Israel fell because of child sacrifice and attached sins, and our child sacrifice, abortion and attached sins are much greater. Oh Lord we have killed 50 million people. Forgive us your people for voting this in, and doing it. For without the votes of your people this would never be in America. Oh Lord wash the blood off your people’s hands, with your blood which can cover all sin, and forgive and heal our land. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
