Heavenly Father, thank You for this day you intend for us to honor You and for us to rest. I ask for a double portion of Your anointing on Pastor Weyman McGuire of Grace on the Hill United Methodist Church as he delivers the message that You have given him. Continue to strengthen him in body, soul, mind, and spirit. May he have times of rest and refreshing, and may his time with You and in Your Word bring new revelation. Today the Evangelism Explosion teams will be going out to recruit new trainees for the fall session. Lay it on these that we visit a desire for Your Great Commission. May we continue to go out into this community sharing the Gospel. May our congregation be of one accord. I ask all of this in Your Son’s Name, Jesus. Amen
