I was involved in a parade yesterday where a couple people were yelling about the Lord and repentance and sin. Things we need to hear about because it is true and we need to turn from it and seek the Lord Jesus Christ, but it was heartbreaking to hear my fellow peers afterwards saying things against the Bible and dismissing the Lord saying that those people yelling at them made them to not want to read the Bible or learn about Christ. It reminded me that the path to destruction is wide and the path to God is narrow, but it hurt my heart to hear these young people walking away from Christ because they were being yelled at about it. I pray for a stirring in their hearts to know who You truly are, that they would draw close to You even though they feel pushed away by the yelling. I pray that they would know about sin and forgiveness of sin through Christ, that they would believe that they need to turn away from those acts and follow the Lord because our wrongdoings might not be something we want to hear about but it’s what we need to know and ask forgiveness for. I pray for these kids, my heart cries for them, I lift them to You God. In Christ alone, Amen.
