Father God, I pray for our leaders in Washington. Help them all to see that fighting and anger help no one. Give them the wisdom to come together to work on opening the government. I ask for provision and patience for those especially who have to work without pay, provide for them, and let them feel your presence. God I am so tired of the name calling no matter which side. I pray for a spirit of peace to settle in. Help the Christians in DC to be peacemakers. God forgive us for our anger. In your beautiful name, amen.
