Father God, I ask that you work in all our government leader’s hearts to soften them, so they can work together for good instead of in anger to end the government shut down. I ask that somehow you bring good out of this. I pray that you provide especially for those who are serving us without pay, like the coast guard and border patrol, in this difficult time, bless them for what they do. I ask that they would learn of your faithfulness during these struggles. God I pray for peaceful and willing hearts in our leaders, help them all to realize that anger and name calling is not your way. In your powerful name, amen.
