Father, help us to examine our hearts, to root out and expose to the light any darkness. There is no place in your Church for pride, greed, racism or anything that goes against your Spirit of truth. Help me to desire you above all things, to not make an idol of anything. We must be vessels of your love in this very dark world; it needs desperately to see love in action.
