Father God, I know we live in a world that seems to be increasingly hostile to you. Help us to know how to live and not compromise our faith, but to be salt and light. We can’t be ambassadors for you if we shut ourselves off, but we need to be strong in our faith to do this. Give us wisdom and courage and discernment. Help us to be like you, Jesus. You were hardest on those with a false holiness, so we ask for a pure heart and kingdom purposes. You showed compassion on so many that we might walk right by. Give us wisdom like Daniel who stayed pure yet worked daily with unbelievers. In your powerful name, amen.
