Abba Father, my heart is broken as every day it seems like there are new accusations of sexual abuse all throughout this country and at every level of society. God, I pray that men in this country would respect women, but most of all that they would respect you. I pray for our leaders in Congress that they would focus on what is right, and not be seduced by power. Father, I ask for the church most of all, that we would be pure and that we would fight against evil wherever it rears its head. How can we expect the world to do what’s right when we fail so miserably? But I know we can only do this by your Spirit. In your powerful name, amen.
