Father God, our spirits are overwhelmed within us, our hearts are appalled. Help us to remember the days of old and meditate on all your doings, and think on the works of your hands. We stretch out our hands to you. Our souls long for you as in a parched land. Psalms 143 4 – 6. We lift up all those in Vegas who were hurt, and we still plead for those in Puerto Rico. God they need your aid so desperately. We also still lift up those affected in Texas, Florida, the Virgin Islands and all the other places that the hurricanes hit. You are our strength and our Salvation. In your powerful name, amen.
