I pray for a kid at my school. He’s broken and bruised and can’t see the light shining anywhere in his life. I was talking with a teacher that works side by side with him to help him through his senior year and possibly graduate. And as we talked my heart mourned for this kid, he’s had a tough life and he’s gone through a lot. He recently got out of jail, back from a suspension after being at school for only 2 days, and now wears a tracking anklet. The teacher and I talked about this kid and I pray for him. They say he will probably be dead in the next couple years because of the path he’s headed on. I pray that he sees the Lord’s light and that he finds rest in the Lord’s hands, and realizes that he’s not to far gone, that Jesus died on the cross for him too. Just recently some more things happened and the police have gotten involved and it’s becoming dangerous. My heart hurts for this boy and I lift him to the Lord in pray that he would come to see You and all You’ve done for him. Please pray continually for this young man. In Your name, Lord on High, Amen.
