Dear Lord, this morning I pray that we will not fight fire with fire but that we will be kind and loving to those who do. I thank you for all that you’ve done for me and my family. I thank you for forgiving, when we don’t even deserve it. I pray that you will show us the way, the path we can take. We know we’re not perfect. The non believers in the world are waiting for people like us to mess up. So they can have the chance to say “Hey don’t follow that person she/he doesn’t act like a Christian.” They want to say these things, but Lord I pray you will give us the strength, to ignore it and to pray for that person. I pray that you will watch over us and guide us as we go throughout our day.
