Heavenly Father, thank you for this new day, thank you for the opportunity to sing your praise. As I prepare to teach, speak or worship you in Church or in the workplace may the peace of Christ rule in my heart, and may the message of your Word dwell deeply and richly in everything I do. You are a loving and gracious God, you give life and can take it away. May I honour you to my dying day. Forgive me when I put myself before you and don’t take the time to speak with you in the stillness of the day. Come Jesus, and fill me with your spirit…May I be consumed with your burning love.
