Father, thank You that Your word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Thank You that as Your Bride You’ve called us to live differently. You call us away from evil speaking, malice, slander, hatred and You said we would be known by our love for You and our love for others. Apart from Jesus, we cannot love. Because of Jesus, You even call us to love our enemies. You said forgive just as we have been forgiven. You teach us that vengeance is Yours alone for You are the only One worthy of avenging anyone or anything. Lord in this day and age of chaos and confusion, Your word says be not overcome by evil, but as Your children we overcome evil by doing good. Teach us to live like Jesus. Help us love like Jesus. Fill us with compassion, mercy, long-suffering, patience, love, joy, peace, meekness, temperance, gentleness so that when others see us they actually see Jesus. Help us to let our light shine bright for our soon and coming King. We ask humbly in the name of Jesus. Create within each of us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us we pray in Jesus name. Keep us Lord. Apart from You, we can do nothing. Thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth. Keep us from deception and from the great falling away in Jesus name.
