Lord, You desire that we know the difference between the spirit of error and the spirit of truth. You desire that we pray for those in pastoral positions because they too can be ensnared by Satan’s schemes and lies. The enemy doesn’t care who he uses. He just wants to bring shame to You Jesus through the church. So Father, I come to You in prayer, praying for Pastor Lewis. Lord, help him to guard his heart. Help him to not love the world or the things of the world. The Bible which is the Word of God teaches us the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life is not from the Father but from the world and if any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him. Jesus Your word will be the only thing that stands. Everything else will melt away and perish forever. We cannot hover between the two because the fence is Satan’s territory. Jesus told us He prefers us hot or cold because if we are lukewarm we will be spewed out of the mouth of God. Jeremiah 23 says woe to the pastors that scatter the Lord’s flock. Lord, in Jesus name, I pray for his deliverance and salvation in Jesus name. Lord, help us to know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error in Jesus name.
