Jesus, I lift up our neighbor who seemed shock that we would even stop to make time for her. She seemed like she never experienced someone caring about her before. Jesus, I ask that You would meet her where she is. Thank You for the gift of compassion and showing care and concern for others. Jesus made time for people. He was loving and fed people. When His disciples didn’t want Jesus to be bothered with children, Jesus told the disciples to let them come for such were the kingdom of God. Jesus changed lives without guns, politics, and other earthly devices. He went to the cross and died and rose again. He changed lives that were one of extreme and caused that life to be transformed by the blood of Jesus. Jesus changes everything and so for our neighbor I ask Father that You would meet her at her deepest place of pain and transform her life by Your light and love. Thank You Jesus for what you’ve done for each of us that call and know You as Lord.
