Lord Jesus, it looks like our neighborhood is up for a rezoning hearing. This kind of thing happens so often and people who are struggling lose their homes because someone with money moves into a small town and talks about how much money can be brought in through higher rental costs and poor people lose everything. Its not fair. On top of that, despite the rezoning, they are raising our rent by ridiculous amounts. It is corruption and greed. Lord Jesus, You are the Defender for the poor and needy. Because of this injustice, I am coming to You Jesus. I am asking on behalf of my neighbors that You would open doors for better paying jobs so that they can afford to move to better neighborhoods with better schools and better opportunities. God, only You can help. I’m praying for Your hand of protection over my neighbors. All of us have families. All of us have responsibilities. All of us need a place to live. God, please do what only You can. Please intervene and help us. There is no other place to go. The government rests on Your shoulders. All things in heaven and earth belong to You. Please make a way where there is no way. You, Jesus, are the Way, the Truth and our very Lives. Apart from You, we simply cannot. Please rescue and help us I ask in Jesus name. We need You Lord so desperately. Without You, all of us has no place to go. Thank You for hearing my prayer and answering in Jesus name. My heart breaks and my spirit is grieved. Please be our refuge and strength for all of us, Christians and non-Christians so that they know Jesus did this for me. It wasn’t possible any other way. Thank You for prayer Lord in Jesus name.
