Lord, I pray for Mr. Joseph. You’ve delivered him from alcoholism. He’s addicted to smoking marijuana. He sounds like he’s reminiscing on his sinful life in his younger days, but the Bible teaches us the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Father, I ask that You help Him as You’ve helped and delivered me. You have no respect of person and even though it seems that society has changed, You have not. You are our constant in an ever changing world but the Bible says there is nothing new under the sun. I pray Lord that You will draw Mr. Joseph and may he declare Your works in his life in Jesus name. It’s not 12 steps. It’s Jesus because at the cross He overcame addiction and every other bondage. I have been crucified with Christ so it is no longer I that lives but Christ in me. Thank You Jesus for being all that we need.
