Father, thank You for stories like the Good Samaritan. Thank You for hearts of compassion for the lost. Thank You for breaking tradition to meet the woman at the well because You knew she was thirsty and her way of doing things weren’t working. She was looking for You and You made it Your business to find that woman. Father, You are the same God today. For every soul that is looking and searching for You, lead us, guide us, give us words and hearts full of compassion. Jesus, You waited for us. Should we not wait for others? The grace that You’ve shown us, should we not show the same grace to those who don’t yet know You? Give us wisdom. Give us love. Give us compassion. Give us long-suffering. Give us temperance or self-control. It is the fruit of a heart that has been changed by the love and power of God. Apart from You and your spirit, we cannot demonstrate fruit. Every tree is known for its fruit. Make us fruit-filled. Make us and mold us into what You would have us be in Jesus name. Help us wait on You Lord. You are worth the wait and nothing is ever wasted when placed in Your capable hands. May we not lean to our own understanding. In all of our ways, we acknowledge You, and You will direct our path. Thank You Jesus!
