Father, I am so broken by the pain others have caused me, and the way my foolish flesh has held on to that pain. When I thought I’d let go of the pain, the enemy has brought back the sting of those hurts. Abba, work in me to defeat the shackles of those feelings with the truth of your Word and the strength of your promises. Guide me to live in the new life you have promised me. Thank you for doing this in Jesus’ name, amen
