Father God, I come today with an anxious heart. Anxious about career, money, family, friends and my spouse. I have the desire to isolate myself today. Pull me closer to You and use Your Holy Spirit to ignite my desire for community rather than isolation. In my heart, I know my situation is a lack of trust today in Your plan for me. Pry my hands off the wheel so I may give it back to You. Reassure me that I will be fine as long as I hang onto You. Lord, bring others into my life today that need community as well. Allow me to serve their need as a way to get out of my own anxiousness.
You have always been fair to me and made sure I could handle what You send my way. I beg You Lord to guide me back to a trusting relationship with You.
