Lord Jesus I lift up all of my neighbors and the people in our lives that are dealing with such anxiety during Christmastime. Satan has really distorting what we celebrate and it’s been made into a day of greed, materialism, coveting, lusting, and selfishness. Jesus died! That is the greatest gift and to know we as believers can share that simple truth with someone could change not just their life but their eternity. May we as Christians stop lying to our children about Santa, because Santa is not real. A lie is a lie and liars go to hell. Help us to embrace the true gospel message and share it with those around us. Give us bold faith. I pray for my children’s father who is off living his life like he has no family. I pray for the hearts of our children that are broken and hurting. Lord, please help our children and me. It’s not easy and then being blamed doesn’t feel good either but You said blessed are ye when we are lied on, persecuted, and all these other things for great is our reward in heaven for so persecuted they the prophets that were before us. You, Jesus, said to rejoice and be exceeding glad for great is our reward in heaven. Help us I pray to keep our eyes on You Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
