Dear Lord please allow peace to remain in the city that I work in and help everyone understand that the actions of one should not be taken out on those of the same profession. My heart aches for my brothers and sisters in blue who are being killed across the country and for the level of violence occurring in communities everywhere. Please touch the hearts of the people within our nation and help open their eyes to your love and forgiveness so that we can move forward in this world. I ask that we continue to pray, follow God’s word, and spread His love and kindness through positive engagement.
