Thank you for joining in prayer on July 14, 2019! Every hour unite in prayer with believers around the world for a mighty move of God.
7:14 am Praise the Lord!
“Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven. He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all his saints, for the people of Israel who are near to him. Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 148:13-14)
Pray for the people of God to rightly and continually praise the name of the Lord and to fear the Lord having an awe and respect for the majesty of God.
8:14 am “If”
“If you listen to these regulations and faithfully obey them, the LORD your God will keep his covenant of unfailing love with you.” (Deuteronomy 7:12)
Pray for God’s people to make a clear decision to follow the word of the Lord with wholehearted devotion and to personally know Jesus as their Savior, Lord, and King! Acceptance and obedience to his commandments show our deep love for God (John 14:21).
9:14 am “My people”
“[Jesus Christ] gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” (Titus 2:14)
Jesus voluntarily gave all he could give to buy us back from our slavery to sin and to set us apart as a special people. Pray for a spirit of holiness to come upon the church in America and in the nations.
10:14 am “Who are called”
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9)
Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who chose us to be holy and blameless in his sight, adopted as his sons and daughters conformed to the likeness of his Son. Pray for Jesus’ followers to be the light of the world reflecting Christ into this culture of darkness!
11:14 am “By my name”
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.” (Matthew 6:9)
Your name is a Help in times of trouble. Your name is our Light and our Salvation. Your name is Immanuel, God with us. Your name is Life. Your name is Faithful and True. Your name is King of kings and Lord of lords. We are a people who honor your name and rejoice in you!
12:14 pm “Will humble themselves”
The Bible says, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” (James 4:6)
As we, the church, humble ourselves under the authority of our Sovereign God, take our stand against the devil, and draw near to God in worship and repentance, we can experience his favor and kingdom blessing (James 4:7-8; Matthew 5:3). Lord, may we live in a spirit of humility recognizing our deep need for you in every circumstance!
1:14 pm “And pray”
“Pray continually.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Lord, we know from your Word that you will bring about justice for your elect who call out to you day and night. We ask for intercessors to arise who will wage war on their knees and fervently pray at all times for all the believers everywhere (Luke 18:1-7; Ephesians 6:18).
2:14 pm “And seek my face”
“I have sought your face [O LORD] with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.” (Psalm 119:58)
As servants looking to the hand of their Master, may your people keep their eyes lifted to the One enthroned in heaven and trust in the name of the Lord alone to forgive, heal, redeem, crown, and satisfy his children, just as he promised (Psalm 123:1; Psalm 103:1-5).
3:14 pm “And turn from their wicked ways”
“Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.” (2 Corinthians 7:10)
Pray that genuine repentance will characterize all believers, so that they earnestly turn to Jesus and with a clear conscience and experience the abundant life in him.
4:14 pm “Then I will hear from heaven”
“The LORD is near to all who call on him; to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.” (Psalm 145:18-19)
Christian, the Lord’s arm is not too short to save those who turn to him (Isaiah 59:1, 20). Instead he is patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
5:14 pm “And I will forgive their sin”
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
As we regularly confess our sins, let us walk in the joy of our salvation and in pure fellowship with God.
6:14 pm “And will heal their land”
“Jesus Christ heals you.” (Acts 9:39)
Praise our Lord Jesus Christ who released us from captivity, gave us sight when we were blinded by sin, set us free from oppression, and bound our broken hearts (Isaiah 61:1-2; Luke 4:18-19). Pray for the followers of Christ to minister to the poor, the oppressed, and the needy in their midst, in Jesus’ name.
7:14 pm
“Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD’s anger.” (Zephaniah 2:3)
Pray that even in judgment the Lord will show mercy and favor to those who seek him. Pray the people of God will humbly unite in prevailing prayer for spiritual awakening in our land and the world.
