“My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water” (Jeremiah 2:13). God, your people have turned from Jesus as the fountain of living water and have sought to satisfy themselves with other idols of their own making. Forgive our false worship and religion. Amen.
