“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). Intercede for men and women who are considering abortion to change their minds and choose life for their child. Pray they will hear the voice of the Good Shepherd.
Heavenly Father, we pray against the chaos and demonic activity on college campuses. May Your heart for Israel be known among the youth of America, and may these hateful protests be replaced with cries of repentance and worship.
“Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.” Pray that all who have been called out of darkness will be faithful to “Go” and tell about the excellencies of Christ.
“Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” Pray that believers would be drawn together in the power of covenant community to pray and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“See I have taken away your sin, and I will put rich garments on you.” Praise be to the Lord who cleanses and restores us to the kingdom work!
“‘Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord, who has compassion on you” (Isaiah 54:10). Thank God for his unshakeable love!
As pastors preach the word of the Lord, we pray that the churches will be strengthened in the faith and grow in number and spiritual understanding.
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” Confess your striving in your own strength. Commit to humble your heart before God, receive His mercy and grace, and trust His perfect care and provision for you.
Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:27-28). Pray that God’s people will faithfully set apart a day and experience spiritual rest in Messiah.
“You are suffering and in need, he will come to your rescue” (Psalm 107:41). Father, grant your people a heart of compassion to intercede for those who are in need and cannot pray for themselves. By your Spirit, we ask that you send forth your ministering servants to go and serve in Christ’s name. Amen.
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Pray for unity in the Church and oneness of spirit among its spiritual leaders in Christ.
Pray for a refreshed passion for the mission of Jesus. He came to seek and save the lost, and we are his ambassadors with the same mission.
“If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” As we humbly and diligently seek God, we’ll be changed, and we’ll see transformation in America through prayer!
“Upright citizens are good for a city and make it prosper, but the talk of the wicked tears it apart.” Pray for your leaders, as well as the judges in our courts. Ask God to grant them wisdom to act with integrity.
“You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him” (2 Samuel 22:29-31). Dear believer, lift up the Word, and light up the world!
