The final section of the book reveals a call to action – to pray two times per day at 7:14 am and 7:14 pm for personal revival, revival in our marriages, our families, our churches, our communities, our countries, and our world.
If 7:14 is a response to a calling that Bob Vander Plaats and The FAMiLY LEADER took seriously after their 2012 Family Leadership Summit where the message was clear. Speaker after speaker stepped up to the podium and proclaimed that our only hope in turning things around spiritually, fiscally, morally, nationally, internationally, and personally is…revival.
Following the Summit, The FAMiLY LEADER board and team reflected intentionally on this need for revival. After prayerful contemplation for several weeks, the vision emerged at a lengthy, but God-ordained team meeting. After a prolonged discussion, we opened the Bible and the word “if” was extraordinarily revealed as the starting point for the vision. Birthed from this meeting was this book, If 7:14 and its call to action.
