Please pray for me. My husband has wandered from God and does not want to be married to me anymore. Please pray for a miracle!

Thanksgiving

We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing!
He chastens and hastens His will to make known.
The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing;
Sing praises to His Name! He forgets not His own.

Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining,
Ordaining, maintaining His kingdom divine!
So from the beginning the fight we were winning;
Thou, Lord, were at our side! All glory be Thine!

We all do extol Thee, Thou Leader triumphant,
And pray that Thou still our Defender will be!
Let Thy congregation escape tribulation!
Thy Name be ever praised! O Lord, make us free!

Prayer for those in wartime

Dear God, we pray for all persons suffering from war. May they be held in your loving care and protection and given the strength to endure great suffering and hardship. Please guide relief ministries in their efforts to help bring assistance to these troubled regions. Our world is full of hurting people and nations torn apart by war and violence. Please protect, comfort, and heal children and women and men who face unspeakable loss and profound emotional and physical challenges. Unite us in pursuing a world where all can thrive in Your peace, mercy, and abundance. Transform the hearts and minds of all those who perpetuate violence and oppression. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Praying for the saints from Psalm 86-

“Teach me your way, Lord,
and I will live by your truth.
Give me an undivided mind to fear your name.
12 I will praise you with all my heart, Lord my God,
and will honor your name forever.
13 For your faithful love for me is great,
and you rescue my life from the depths of Sheol.

14 God, arrogant people have attacked me;
a gang of ruthless men intends to kill me.
They do not let you guide them.
15 But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
slow to anger and abounding in faithful love and truth.
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me.
Give your strength to your servant;
save the son of your female servant.
17 Show me a sign of your goodness;
my enemies will see and be put to shame
because you, Lord, have helped and comforted me.”

Thank you Jesus for salvation, deliverance and healing in your mighty name! Amen.

Even with the end of the Roe V. Wade decision in 2022 and the future President elect Trump administration, pray for hearts and minds to continue to change concerning the sin and evil of abortion. Pray also that abortion would end in every nation around the world. Pray that states will pass legislation that will end abortion in each individual state so there will not be easy access even across state lines. Pray for the complete defunding of Planned Parenthood in the United States for anything that continues to promote the abortion industry. Pray that medical professionals and scientists develop a desire for their fields to clearly define when life occurs in the womb. Pray for conviction and compassion to flood the hearts of abortionists and abortion activists. (Psalm 139:15-16; Jeremiah 1:5; Proverbs 6:16-17)

Amen.

Trust in the Lord

“Place your trust in an eternal, unchanging God. Rest assured that His eternal heart will love you as much tomorrow as He does today and forever.” Elisabeth Elliot from Heart of God

Share the Blessed Hope That You Have in Christ

In 1607 (13 years before the Pilgrims arrived) Robert Hunt dedicated our nation to the Lord at Cape Henry:

“We do hereby dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations take the Kingdom of God to all the earth. May this Covenant of Dedication remain to all generations, as long as this earth remains, and may this Land, along with England, be Evangelist to the World.”

Ask for God to forgive His people for turning away from their first love and going after other false gods. Pray that His people would seek forgiveness from the hand of our Heavenly Father and return to the Lord God Almighty seeking His face while there is time. Pray for a spirit of evangelism and a Holy Spirit outpouring to fall on believers so that their daily walk consists of sharing the good news of the Kingdom of God.

Give thanks in everything

12 “Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to give recognition to those who labor among you and lead you[a] in the Lord and admonish you, 13 and to regard them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 And we exhort you, brothers and sisters: warn those who are idle,[b] comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 See to it that no one repays evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all. 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray constantly, 18 give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Don’t stifle the Spirit. 20 Don’t despise prophecies, 21 but test all things. Hold on to what is good. 22 Stay away from every kind of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:12-19

Pray for the saints. May the God of peace himself sanctify us completely. And may our whole spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (vs.23)
